This seems to be a package installation problem in MiKTeX setup and nothing related to elsarticle packages. So, it would be good to have a look at the following MiKTeX page before you proceed. Here you may find instruction to add packages in your TeX tree.

Or if you are on Ubuntu or Debian, try installing the texlive-fonts-recommended package.
